10 Mar Time to Polish Our Armor
by Donna Le I grew up in rural Oklahoma in a kinder, gentler era. We had Christmas vacation rather than Winter Break. The Friday before Easter at Peckham School our classes spent the afternoon enjoying an egg hunt. School year after school year our cook served up delicious home-styled meals in the cafeteria. Before each of those lunches our teacher led us in a simple prayer: For all we eat, For all we wear, For all we have everywhere, We thank Thee, Heavenly Father. Amen. No one complained.
